Mason & Hamlin Grand and Upright Pianos
Mason & Piano Company was founded in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1854 by Henry Mason.
They originally manufactured only melodeons, then organs. By the 1870s, they were considered the largest and most important manufacturer of reed organs.
Mason & Hamlin began manufacturing pianos in 1883 but only built upright pianos and then grand pianos in the 1900s
Mason & Hamelin is considered the best American piano manufacturer after Steinway & Sons.
